Narges Mohammadi’s career gained momentum in 2020 when she made a huge impression with her graduation project for the KABK, Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. In 2024, she won the prestigious art award de Volkskrant Beeldende Kunstprijs. Today her work is also internationally recognised for what it is: strong, meaningful, beautiful, and moving. Cultural traditions, transience, and memories play an important role in her body of work, which mainly consists of large-scale installations and sculptures made from everyday materials.
