Two Turning Vertical Rectangles – the sculpture with the two gigantic revolving plates – by artist George Rickey, is back on the Binnenwegplein in Rotterdam. It had been five years away, but last Monday, September 7, Rickey’s artwork returned home after being rammed by a truck in 2015. The restoration had been completed for some time, but replacing it was not possible before due to ongoing demolition and construction work in the area.
